1. Terms and Conditions of Sale

Settlement

Cash on delivery, or for approved credit accounts only, settlement under the terms and conditions specified on the account approval.

Property in the Goods

Does not pass until payment is received in full.

Price

All prices are bin ex-warehouse. Delivery and insurance, where applicable, are at additional cost.

Liability

The liability of this company for damage, loss, delay, non-delivery or for any other cause ceases upon release of goods to authorised third party carriers, notwithstanding the fact that property in the goods remains with the seller until the goods are paid for.

Claims

Shortages against the invoice will only be considered if reported within 24 hours of receipt of the goods.

Visible damage or loss must be clearly noted on the carrier's delivery receipt.

In the event of damage or loss, an immediate claim must be made on the appropriate carrier or insurance company by the receiver.

Goods must be checked for suitability prior to any attempt to fit or preparation for fitting. No claim will be considered for incorrect supply against order.

2. Return of Goods

Goods will only be considered for credit if they are returned in good and resaleable condition, freight prepaid, in the original packaging and when the original invoice number and date of supply are quoted. For items with a list value of less than $50, no credit will be given.

Credits may be allowed but will be subject to the following conditions:

• Goods ordered interstate at your request – no credit
• Electrical goods – no credit
• Goods modified in any way – no credit
• Goods returned over 30 days from invoice – no credit
• Handling fees apply on all other credits
• Non stock items ordered at your request – no credit

3. Warranty

Parts warranty coverage for all Automotive Sales Group Pty Ltd (ASG) approved components is 12 months / 100,000 kilometres for those items found to be defective in either material and/or workmanship. This parts warranty is subject to the following conditions:

• The part(s) has been purchased as a retail item from an ASG dealer.
• The period commences from the date and time of purchase as stated on the invoice.
• Repair or replacement of the part(s) will be at the sole discretion of ASG. Any part(s) replaced under ASG standard warranty will be covered by the balance of that warranty OR by the parts warranty, whichever is the longer.

This warranty does not extend to:

• Glassware, fuses, globes, fan belts, wiper blades
• Normal maintenance items defined in the User Maintenance Manual
• Any defect in a genuine ASG part or accessory which has been involved in an accident, rebuilding or modification, unless the defect is, to ASG's satisfaction, not a result of such accident, rebuilding or modification
• Parts failure due to overloading or parts placed in an application for which the part was not designed, or any other item as stipulated in the relevant product brochure

Towing, travel and callout expenses to and from the job site are not covered by the parts warranty. The dealer must obtain from the customer a copy of the original sales document as proof of purchase. A copy of the original sales document should be filed with the repair order for review and/or audit at any stage by ASG.
